Most "free" legal-template sites work the same way: you spend twenty minutes filling in a form, click Download, and meet a 7-day trial that quietly turns into $35–$50 a month. The documents themselves are often generic, missing the disclosures your state actually requires.

FormsByState was built to fix both problems. Every template is generated from a rule set for each of the 50 states and DC — deposit caps, notice periods, usury limits, mandatory disclosures — with the statute cited on the page so you can check it yourself. And the price is a number you see before you type anything: $19 or $29 once, or Pro at $19 a month that you cancel in one click.

Documents are generated in your browser, so what you type stays with you. The forms are available in English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Uzbek; the legal document is always produced in English, the language courts and agencies use.
