Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2026-09-07
FormsByState is committed to making our service usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings and a skip link
- Every form control has a visible label; errors are announced to screen readers
- Full keyboard operation, visible focus indicators, no keyboard traps in dialogs
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text; information is never conveyed by color alone
- Responsive layout that reflows to 320px and supports 200% zoom
- Reduced-motion preference respected; no auto-playing media
- Generated PDFs use real text (not images) with document titles set, so they can be read aloud
Known limitations
Third-party checkout (Stripe) and sign-in emails are provided by their vendors; we choose vendors with strong accessibility commitments.
