How to use this Rent Receipt in US
Give a receipt for every payment, and always for cash. Keep a copy — together they form the rent ledger you will need for a deposit dispute or an eviction.
If rent is late, send a Late Rent Notice first; if a tenant pays only part, note the balance on the receipt instead of writing "paid in full".
